ALBERT WATSON

Watson was born in 1942 in Scotland. He approached Photography in 1970 in the United States and he immediately dedicated it to fashion and advertising. Albert has started to use Polaroid in 1972, before accompanying it to his Hasselblad and then in 1984 to the optical bench. During his career he has taken over one hundred thousand shots for projects, magazines and advertising campaigns and he has made more than two hundred covers for Vogue and forty for Rolling Stone. If you like his polaroids, you should not miss Roids! It is an exhibition, hosted at Christophe Guye Galerie in Zurich from the 10th September until the 24th October. It’s not only the gigantic Polaroid prints you will find, but also an amazing selection of never before made available photographs will be on view for the first time ever!
