BANG & OLUFSEN EDGE

An original circular shape and the possibility to be fixed to the wall like the big station clocks, this is the portrait of Edge, the latest Bang & Olufsen‘s wireless speakers. It spreads music on both sides, has wi-fi, bluetooth, Chromecast and AirPlay2; the price is 3,250 euros.

Edge is a round diffuser with a diameter of about 50 cm and a thickness of about 10 cm, it can be placed on a shelf or on the floor and it can also be fixed to the wall in an absolutely original way: on the side and not on the back. This is because Edge spreads music on both sides, reminding us the large clocks fixed on the walls or along the platforms of the railway tracks. The designer Michael Anastassiades came up with this solution. The volume of the two sides can be adjusted independently to suit each location. As aforementioned, the speaker is equipped with wi-fi, bluetooth, Chromecast, AirPlay 2 and supports Google Assistant when paired with another B & O speaker like the Beosound 1 and 2 or Alexa if paired with an Amazon Echo.
