BAR PALMIER

Xavier Segers is a half Belgian half Korean freelance creative working and living in London. He attended masters in visual arts, but he also specialized in graphic design and art direction.

He recently collaborated with the newly opened Bar Palmier in Antwerp that asked him to create a lush and mysterious jungle for their lounge area. This resulted in a unique space, a botanical wonderland where the clients are surrounded by outlandish creatures and exotic plants that tower over them. All of the plants and flowers were digitally drawn and the creatures were based on old Victorian drawings. Everything was printed on separate rolls of textured wallpaper covering a total surface of 60 sqm.
