“You have to draw the award, the concept car and a food intervention together,” explains Andrea in latest Domus interview. “For the first year, we suggested not displaying the concept car but placing the focus on the research and hydrogen technology instead”. They translated the concept using a kinetic light installation composed by four moving sculptures, placed on a reflective pink resin that gives the idea of liquidity. For the food intervention the chef were asked to work on water, which is key to hydrogen cars. The car was displayed with “…2,000, or perhaps more, hand-painted elastic threads” drawn between two platforms which were raised and lowered. To see the exhibition click here
