GEODE PUZZLE
Nervous System is a design studio that works at the intersection of science, art, and technology. They use computer simulation to generate designs and digital fabrication to realize products. Taking inspiration from natural phenomena, Nervous System team write computer programs based on processes and patterns found in nature and use those programs to create unique and affordable art, jewelry, and housewares.
One of their project is based on complex algorithms that allow to digitally recreate geodes – natural rocks filled with precious stones. The patterns that come out are laser cut and used to create puzzles. Visit Nervous System’s page for more projects!
