Founded in 2012, Ginger & Jagger presented its latest collection at the 2016 Salone del Mobile in Milan. The Porto-based brand’s name refers to the fictional relationship between two lovers: Jagger creates pieces inspired by Ginger’s travels around the world. The brand presented for 2016 products made with wood, marble, bronze and copper. “Our design has a larger spectrum than the products themselves.“ explains to iGNANT the CEO and creative director Paula Sousa. “It’s part of a narrative. We try to capture a feeling through the stories and the products tell their pathos.” In the gallery you will find a series of conceptual photos which were taken at marble pit and abandoned metal mine in Alentejo, Portugal, and some of their most popular products.
