HOUSE 304

Kientruc O is a Vietnamese architecture studio based in Ho Chi Minh City. One of their project from 2015 is House 304, a 180 sqm provocative house for a young family.

On a 3.5m x 12m site, the studio designed four volumes one on another, they all share a central space cut with a curve to maximize the light from the roof, provoking a sense of openness and connection with nature. The first floor is the common area while the private rooms are at the 2nd and 3rd floor; the 4th is a terrace to enjoy the view and finally connect with the exterior.
