HOVERBOARDS TIME_LEXUS

The 21st of October 2014 Hendo Hoverboards, Greg e Jill Henderson company, launched a kickstarter campaign for the world’s first real hoverboard but we already talked about it.

Now also the luxurious automotive brand Lexus revealed the concept of a real hoverboard named “SLIDE”: it uses magnetic levitation to achieve amazing frictionless movement, liquid nitrogen cooled superconductors and permanent magnets combine to allow the impossible. The Hoverboard features the iconic Lexus spindle grille signature shape, using materials found in the luxury car brand, from the high tech to the natural bamboo. Unfortunately this is only the concept, unlike Hendo’s project.
