Notes on a Place is a double series of photos made by the Finnish artist KIMMO METSÄRANTA. With this series he wanted to show spots that are in plain sight but unseen to most. The images are isolated abstractions, modified interpretations, bare structures with only the essentials left. The images make the places become monuments.
