Bengo Studio is an architecture practice established in 2012 in Shanghai. Their work is based “on respect for the intrinsic relationship between architectural functions, space and phenomenology.” Their last project, the Qiyunshan Tree House, is a building composed of stacked timber volumes surrounded by the forest. Located in Huang Shan, Anhui Provice, China, the building is developed on the central the spiral staircase that joins all the volumes. The house is composed by two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living room and, before the roof, the landscape room, the highest part of the structure that offers an amazing view on the surrounding nature.
