STEVEN KLEIN: THE DARK SIDE OF GLAMOUR

When you ask yourself who is Steven Klein the description you can easily find on the internet is “visionary photographer”. I guess Visionary means that he can imagine, see and reproduce things other photographers don’t. He has worked with Madonna, Kate moss, Vogue, and so many other celbrities that we have lost the count. His work is really different fromthe one of the equally famous Steven Meisel that appear so polite and conventional compared to Klein. What we understand from his last collaboration with NARS, the cosmetic brand, is that for him beauty is not always something good and pure, but on the contrary something beautiful and desirable has always something to do with darkness, eros and evil.
