Founded in 2007 by Tue Foged and Sinus Lynge, EFFEKT is an architectural collaborative based in Copenhagen, Denmark, operating in the fields of architecture, urbanism and research.

Located in the preserved forest Gisselfeld Klosters Skove, south of Copenhagen, the Treetop Experience is their latest project: 600 meter treetop walk connected to a 45 meter tall observation tower will allow people to take a walk above the treetops. The route through the trees passes sensitively through different varieties of forest, while minimizing the disturbance of the environment. The walk is composed by a higher and a lower walkway. The high one feature a series of activities for different user groups to learn and enjoy the forest qualities. The geometry of the tower is designed as a curved profile with a slender waist and enlarged base and crown. This does not only increase the stability of the tower but also increase the observation deck area at the top of the tower. The new Treetop Experience will be part of Camp Adventure, an existing adventure sports facility that include treetop climbing and aerial zip lines.
