VERSILIA

Bernhard Lang was born in 1970 in the South of Germany; in 1993 he started an apprenticeship as photographer in a studio specialized in advertising photography. Since 2010 he is mainly working on his project “Aerial Views”: he mostly takes photos out of small helicopters to show us the world from a new perspective.

He was always fascinated and inspired by the vistas outside the window on passenger flights; from that height, landscapes and rivers appear like patterns and look like paintings to the eye of the artist. On his latest composition project Versilia, the aim of the artist to convert the scenes on Chinese ink paper, obtaining patterns and graphic design, is definitely earned.
