Lead by architect Jeanna Berger, JeanArch recently realized “72h Cabin”, a wellbeing-inspired retreat in the comfort of nature, on the privately owned Swedish island of Henriksholm.

The “72h Cabin” dwellings enable small groups to withdraw into the off-grid expanses of the wilderness. Built with timber from the local Norway Spruce trees, the original Henriksholm model sits on a pillar structure that leaves a minimal footprint on the environment. Jeanna Berger has integrated shelving units on the facade behind the headboard, which doubles as a support structure for the gable roof, whilst ensuring minimal interior decoration. Instead, visitors can gaze at the stars through the glass wall and ceiling panels, offering an immersive experience of connecting with the natural world.
