Designed by Aranza de Ariño in the Oaxacan coast, in San Pedro Tututepec, Mexico, Casa Tiny is a holiday home that supplies minimal functions, located among dense vegetation just 200m far from the beach, in an unpopulated area.

A tortuous path leads through vegetation to the outdoor swimming pool and the patio. The house is characterized by simple and functional interiors: a kitchen, a bathroom, and an open mezzanine bedroom, arranged in a split-level environment. The remainder of the building is taken up by a concrete volume that breaches the facade to partly occupy the patio, directly outside of the building, as if to say: you will live outdoors. This house could almost be considered just a concrete tent, a cabin in the vegetation where you can free from the distractions of ordinary life.
