DUNE HOUSE

Dune House is a holiday house in Pape, Latvia, designed by Archispektras.

The project is located in the dunes of the Baltic sea. A sharp linear thatched structure is elegantly intersecting and engaging with curvy lines its surroundings. The main facade material – straw – was inspired by a traditional building method in the area. Living room, kitchen, dining and lounge areas are grouped into one. Spaces on different levels create a magnificent experience where social interactions emerge. The light coming from the top adds to the wood interior warmth.  Visit Archispektras’ website for more info!
