‘Herbaria’ is a magazine created and produced by Italian graphic designers Giulia Penserini and Alessandra Carta.

It was created to sensitize the public to botany (herbaria in latin), the first science that studies the plant world. Botany started from the medical need to recognize and name plants with therapeutic action. The plant world should not be considered as a decoration but as something poetic and creative.

The graphic style of Herbaria was designed to create contrast: rulers and threads against the wild world of nature, in a mix of elegance and creativity.
