Among his works, Prague-based artist Jakub Geltner creates public installations with technological equipment: since 2011, he addresses “the heightened state of surveillance in our contemporary world”. These interventions are composed by cameras and antennas, arranged in space to create peculiar scenes; the objects act like living creature, their position reminds birds and animals behaviour.

The latest Geltner’s installations are Nest 06, a group of cameras attached to a curved pole, alongside a pathway leading to the beach in Sydney, Australia created for Sculpture by the Sea; Nest 7 is located on an aging building at Chateau Třebešice, bringing surveillance to the countryside.
