JENNY AYRTON
Jenny Ayrton graduated from Plymouth College of Art in 2012, in 2014 she was selected for the Crafts Council’s prestigious Hothouse 4 programme. Her work has been featured on the cover of Craft & Design magazine, won awards at two London shows, and been selected for the 2015 British Glass Biennale.
She captures miniature wonderlands in molten glass, the scenes have a domestic twist and are directly influenced by her surroundings. She has a young daughter and she tries to see the world from her viewpoint, she finds inspiration in the mundane and overlooked.
