LOOK MUM NO UV!

Oficina Penadés is a Madrid-based practice founded by Spanish designer Jorge Penadés. Established in 2015, the office cultivates a dissident approach to the contemporary notion of design which often manifest in new materials, objects, installations, one-off commissions, exhibitions or architectural experiences.

Look Mum no UV! is a minimalist chair designed for The Future Perfect (for NYCxDesign 2019). The Future Perfect decided to issue artists, industrial designers, ceramicists, sculptors and interior designers with a brief to create a single chair of their own imagination. The final selected works, which range from fully functional examples to pieces of pure art and sculpture, will be one-of-a-kind pieces for sale exclusively through The Future Perfect.
