We already know Japanese Nendo Studio for previous projects as Sticker-Calendar and Stationery Collection but not for food design.

Founded by designer Oki Sato, the studio will create a “chocolate lounge”  for visitors of the Maison&Objet  trade fair in Paris (from 23 to 27 January), in honour of the Designer of the Year prize. Nendo also created a set of chocolate, Chocolatexture’s the name of the nine 26-millimetre cubes. One is in “wireframe”, one is constructed from a frame of chocolate sticks, while another is formed into spikes, every pieces have a different texture and “the distinctive textures create different tastes” as Nendo said. A limited edition of 400 boxes will be for sale at the lounge, the space will be furnished with Nendo’s previous seat designs for brands.
