OBJECTS OF EVERYDAY LIFE

Şakir was born in the 1965 in Denizli, Turkey, he studied (BA/ MA/ Ph. D.) at Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Istanbul and since 2001 he lives and works as an artist in Hamburg. He creates sculptures and installations with everyday objects he assembles, cuts and scatters. His visual imagination lead us into a world of fantasy, finding the poetry in the everyday life.
