Fabio D’ Altilia is an artist from Italy, he created a clever set of illustrations inspired by Gestalt psychology (“shape” psychology). He designed a series of shapes, each one with two different point of view, he want to address multistable perception, which is the tendency for us to go back and forth between two or more interpretations. This is part of his big conceptual work, where he uses the top-down effect where our minds tries to create interpretations based on former experiences and expectations. He forces us to concentrate more to see the ambiguity in each picture.
