Helene Steiner is a UK based designer and researcher with a focus on new interactions in and with our (natural) environment. Her research follows a biological approach and looks at opportunities to not only bridge the physical and digital world but also the natural and artificial.
She is now working to digitally communicate with plants using nature’s own language – electro-chemical signals. Together with microsoft research, she’s working on ‘Project Florence’ combining natural language research, biology, design and computer engineering. Helene created the first platform for plant to human communication through the power of language. To know more visit her page!
