RAYA SADER BUJANA

Last week WeVux talked about paper artisans Makerie Studio and PaperForm, today is Raya’s turn.

Raya Sader Bujana is a Lebanese-Venezuelan paper artist based in Barcelona. She has been producing paper artworks since 2008. After studying architecture in Venezuela at the U.C.V., she had to move away to Barcelona where she tried to continue her studies at the U.P.C. for 3  years, until she decided to drop out in 2008 and focus on what she does best: Paper art and Design. She worked on stop-motion videos, commissioned pieces, with brands like Camper and DOIY and she is also developing exhibitions for her own works.

One of her latest project is a new series of tiny paper flowers and cacti encased by miniature glass terrariums, each measuring only 4cm high. You can see more works on Instagram and a few are available in her Etsy Shop, Little Ray of Sunflower
