Bureau Architectures Sans Titre was set up in Toulouse in 2013 by Laurent Didier and Mathieu Le Ny. They embrace what they describe as research-led work with an ‘anonymous approach’. Despite this deliberate lack of attribution, every BAST project has a distinct character, for example T12.

T12 is a minimalist interior located in Toulouse, France, designed by BAST. The deconstructed space features the use of cement blocks as structural elements, which include the staircase and surface supports. The blocks hold up counter space as well, providing a functional, yet extremely simple solution to create a usable space. The office area features a sleek USM bookshelf that contrasts against the otherwise imperfect and unfinished aesthetic of the interior.
