The Binh House is made by Vo Trong Nghia Architects (VTN Architects) to challenge the city creating a green oasis in the dense District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The residence is an answer to the faster development of Vietnamese cities that is pushing back nature more and more.
The studio created a vertical house that offers privacy as well as togetherness for a three-generations family. They used sustainable materials such as natural stone, wood and exposed concrete. The green oasis is composed by tropical gardens and green terraces. Several courtyards are filled with plant and some of them literally enter into the interior spaces. The building structure looks like a composition of volumes, cuts, glasses and walls made especially for the green. A fascinating roof garden completes the perfect house.
