RockPaperBot is an engineering and design firm based in Brooklyn, NYC, founded by Jessica Banks. The company sits at the intersection of decor, art, and technology.

One of their successful project is Float Table, a matrix of “magnetized” wooden cubes that levitate. “The repelling cubes are held in balance by a system of thin tensile steel cables. Each handcrafted table is precisely tuned to seem rigid and stable, yet a touch reveals the secret to Float’s dynamic character.” This product is the result of a simple application of classical physics, but the outcome and its effect are amazing.
