THE SHED PROJECT

Lee John Phillips is an artist and an illustrator who wanted to commemorate his late grandfather in the most creative way: when he passed away, he left an old shed containing over 100,000 individual tools and trinkets. Phillips has decided to take on an immense project, he’s determined to document every single item that’s housed within the shed’s four walls, he estimates the project will take around 5 years. The artist has already drawn close to 4,000 pieces and his persistence represents the love and admiration he has for his grandfather.

You can see his meticulous sketchbook drawings on Instagram.
