Meltem Işık is a Turkish photographer born in Ankara, she lives and works in Istanbul. In one of her latest project, named “Twice into the stream”, she explores the relationship between how people see their own bodies and how others perceive their physiques. She used enlarged images of her subjects’ body parts and she invited them to pose with these magnified images. With this collection she wants to communicate something intrinsic about our personality and how we relate to our own bodies.
