URBAN PAINTINGS

Matthias Heiderich is a young German photographer, he transforms urban spaces in abstract paintings, composed by geometry and colors. Trained as an autodidact, he started from the streets of Berlin with a digital Pentax, capturing color and texture to create a very personal abstract dimension in which architecture and graphics are mixed, the color is saturated, and the lines are strict. Isolating them from the context of small and large elements of urban reality, Heiderich drags us into his fascinating world, in a contest between detail and context in which it is always worth getting lost for some time.
