FREEDOM COVE
The Freedom Cove is a colorful floating house complex off the coast of Canada’s Vancouver Island, 45 minutes by boat to the closest town.
The artists Catherine King and Wayne Adams have been building it for the past 24 years. The complex consists of 12 sections including greenhouses, a workshop, an art gallery, lighthouse and dance floor, in addition to regular living spaces. Constructed without the use of power tools, the structure weighs around a million pounds.
